The 2019 National Chemistry Week Illustrated Poem Contest with the theme "Marvelous Metals" is now officially over. The Southern Arizona Section of ACS (SAZACS) received 78 entries in three age categories. The following students were recognized:
First-place winners received $25.00 gift certificates from SAZACS, and their posters were submitted to the ACS National Competition. Honorable mention awards consisted of $15.00 gift certificates. All students who sent their work for the contest received certificates of participation.
