To assist you with planning of the NCW- themed activities, we have resources for grade K-12 students, including age-appropriate activities, short videos and lesson plans:
Educational resources contain articles and activities for various grade levels: Celebrating Chemistry magazine for children in K-8. This magazine can also be used to introduce the topic to older students. Teachers can download a digital copy for use in their classes. The articles and activities in the magazine explain the concepts associated with this topic, such as various fibers, uses of fabrics and dyes. ChemMatters magazine articles are suitable for high school students. Links to archived articles are found on the ACS educational resources page.
