Science Fair at Dove Mountain Science and Engineering Fair

Posted on 2/10/2020

Calling all Science Fair fans!  With our 1st Annual Dove Mountain Science and Engineering Fair quickly approaching, we are looking for science and engineering fans- parents, friends, professionals, others from the local community- to help judge the projects that will be submitted by our Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students. As we are expecting several hundred projects to be submitted, we are looking for quite a few judges!

Please consider devoting your time and talent to our students who will be eagerly participating in this important scientific endeavor. Judging will occur over a two day period, beginning on Tuesday, February 18th from 3:30 pm-8:00 pm, and continuing on Wednesday, February 19th from 8:00 am-12:00 pm. Students will find out the results of the Science and Engineering Fair before the end of the day on February 19th.

If you are willing to serve as a judge for the Science Fair, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/bpfs85g59ysG5Zbt7

If you know of some other qualified individual who would like to judge, please share the link to this form with them. We will gladly accept community member support!

More information regarding judging will be sent to those by email at the beginning of February to those who complete the linked form. Please mark this exciting event in your calendar now to reserve one of both of these judging dates!

Questions about the Science Fair? Please contact Ms. Sjursen, our GEM teacher and Science Fair Coordinator, at k.l.sjursen(at)maranausd.org
