This year CCEW is all about batteries. Batteries have the power because they can accept energy from alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower and store it in chemical bonds. Anywhere and anytime we want, batteries release electrical energy. Today, batteries are an indispensable part of our world. We use them in various devices, such as remote controls, wheelchairs, hearing aids, cars, mobile phones, laptops, bike lights, and more.
Did you know that by 2025, the global EV (electric vehicle) market will be valued at $567 billion? Innovations in battery design and efficiency for the entire lifecycle of batteries will protect our environment even more.
